tips and ideas on how to make floral arrangements last (PLUS how to restyle the good flowers when others start to fade)
Last year I shared a post about how to make your cut flowers and floral arrangements last. It’s something I’ve done for years, so when my Mother’s Day flowers started to fade, I did my thing and continued enjoying them.
When certain blooms started to die, I tore it apart and restyled it. I shared this with you, but it was in real time and really too late to really be of much use. Not so this year.
2 hacks: Ikea Bygel rails as curtain rods & bed sheets into curtains
I can finally check another item off my should-have-done-this-a-year-ago to-do list. My son’s curtains have been sitting in his closet since we moved in almost 2 years ago. Why has it taken me so long to hang them? Because I am the Master Procrastinator.
How to Make Homemade Bouncy Balls- that really bounce!
I have been letting my girls take turns picking things to do in the afternoon. Yesterday my 5 year old wanted to do a craft project so I decided it was time to make out own little bouncing balls. I have been wanting to make these for ages and as long as you have the ingredients they are really easy to make.
We actually tried two ways to make bouncy balls and one was a little bit of a flop and the other was very successful and made really cool balls that bounced like crazy.

We all have many old and unused items lying around in our homes or garages waiting to be thrown away. I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but there’s a great feeling of liberation that comes after shedding old stuff. However, before you start cleaning your home, we want to show you some incredibly creative Do It Yourself projects that may change your mind. You’ll learn that a lot of useless items can be transformed into wonderful creations. You can turn an old glove into a cute chipmunk toy, toilet paper rolls into a beautiful floral wall art, plastic bottle into a broom and many more. We’ve been working on this list for a long time, but I’m sure there are many more awesome DIY ideas that we’ve missed. So if you know one or have done a cool DIY project yourself, feel free to share it in the comments!
